Since 1957 on our location, ships have been built under different company names, leaving a legacy of shipbuilders in the neighborhood. The name Scheepwerf Groot-Ammers is founded in 1977 and we are proud to maintain the legacy of shipbuilding in Groot-Ammers.

Here you will find our engineering and production facilities, just a short distance from Rotterdam, and the historic windmills as a symbol of early-Dutch engineering. This location offers us access to the river Lek which is an extension of the Rhine and offers deep water with no height restrictions to sea.
